E Health, Altran Research & Innovation program:

Rethinking health services in the digital age to develop and assess innovative health solutions

Improving quality of life and the structure of a sustainable sector is the ambitious goal of the Altran E-health Research & Innovation program, which focuses on patient follow-up and prevention, healthcare professional efficiency and evaluation of new technologies for the Healthcare sector.

Key projects include:

The MEDIC@ program aims to propose a system of augmented reality with clinical added value, improving the quality of surgery – particularly laparoscopic surgery – in operating blocks.

Supported by the French Academy of Technologies, the PiCADo project aims to design, experiment with and assess a multifunction and multi-pathology domo-medicine platform. The platform will allow for home healthcare, take into account biological rhythms to adjust treatments and improve coordination among the different caregivers.

The objective is to develop an intelligent device to help patients - in a non-intrusive manner - to better respect medical prescriptions (observance). The device’s  ergonomic design, autonomy, ease of use and proper integration in the care chain, as well as its cost, contribute to the overall innovation. The DISDEO solution has been tested in a real environment.
